Formed in 2023 to mark the 40th anniversary of world-renowned pianist Makoto Ozoneʼs debut, this piano trio features two exceptional young talents in whom Ozone places his absolute trust: Shimpei Ogawa and Kunito Kitai. Their ensemble, backed by masterful technique and profound intellect, seamlessly blends the spontaneous freedom of jazz with meticulous structural beauty, instantly drawing listeners into the heart of the music.

With Ozoneʼs creativity at its core, their sound arises from a trinity of rhythm, harmony, and dynamism̶perfectly embodying their name, TRiNFiNiTY, a blend of "Trio" and "Infinity." From jazz standards to original compositions, their ever-evolving music is charged with the tension and exhilaration unique to live performance, earning high acclaim both in Japan and abroad. They are a force pushing the possibilities of the jazz trio into a new dimension.

The collaboration began in 2021 through the "From OZONE till Dawn" project, which nurtures young talent. Since then, they have performed at Blue Note Tokyo and various concert halls, and even premiered Ozoneʼs original works with the New Japan Philharmonic.

Following their debut album recording in New York in August 2023, they released their self-titled debut TRiNFiNiTY in January 2024. Their second album, For Someone, was released on January 21, 2026 (Mo-Zone/Universal Music).

This world-class trio, bridging the gap between a legend and the next generation, is set to lead the new era of jazz from Japan to the world.
